Human Resources Insurance Information

Currently, all benefits-elgibile employees in HUSD are covered through the Self-Insured Schools of California (SISC) for medical coverage. For dental coverage, the District utilizes Delta Dental Insurance for all employees, while VSP provides HTA and Management vision coverage, and MES provides CSEA benefits-eligible employees with vision service.

The District makes available five different health plans offered by SISC -- 100%, 90%, 80%, a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), and a Mexico insurance plan (SIMNSA). The annual costs of each plan, along with dental and vision insurance costs, can be viewed in the links below (there is a link for each employee group -- HTA, CSEA, and Management).
